2023-24 – round up

We are coming to a close for this academic year! And what a year Tower Hamlets & the City has had. We have protested, marched, gone on strike, recruited and trained reps, supported members with casework and workplace bargaining, celebrated Pride, held Black Educator network events, sent delegations to the NEU’s Annual Conference, LGBT+ Conference, Black Educators’ Conference, TUC LGBT+ Conference, run workshops at the Palestine for Education Conference, the activist zone at annual conference, at the Black LGBT+ residential and at the Bi+ residential; marched with the NEU at London Pride; sent a delegation to volunteer with Care4Calais; and spoken at meetings and rallies. We also said farewell to our long-serving Vice-President Paul Mcgarr – we are really going to miss him but hope he has a happy retirement! Below are a few pics from our year.
