Our NEU meetings

General Members’ meetings 2026-2027

We hold 10 District General Members’ meetings and 1 Branch AGM a year to which all members are welcome.

All meetings will start at 5pm and end by 6pm, except during Ramadan where we will adapt the timings.

They take place at Central Foundation Girls’ School, E3 2AT. Please use the Harley Grove entrance: https://maps.app.goo.gl/UFdkxZKsko9hYbqm9

Accessibility:

• Refreshments are provided for any General Members’ meetings which are held in person.
• Almost all our meetings are now hybrid and if joining online, you will receive a link via email.
• We can help cover childcare costs and discuss possible access arrangements if caring responsibilities are an issue for attending.
• Our venue has a place to pray as well.
• For access to the prayer space or any other specific requirements (e.g. breastfeeding, mobility issues etc.), get in touch with us at rachael.garvin@neu.org.uk.

School meetings

If you do organise a school meeting, don’t hesitate to buy some refreshments for your members. You can then claim back your expenses from the District. To do this, please keep all your itemised receipts (physical or clear picture), and email the treasurer Pauline at pauline.philippe@neu.org.uk to be guided to do a claim form.

Many school groups are also using Zoom, Teams or other online platforms to organise union meetings with their members, if you find it difficult to meet in person.
